How do I know if my camera and camcorder charger works in a different country?
I have a Sony camera and camcorder cannon. This summer I will be visiting a country where the voltage is 220. How do I know if the porters who worked there or have to buy an adapter?
Their chargers are designed to operate at 120 volts the system. You will have to get an adapter (step-down transformer) for the 220 volt system will not burn their boots. Moreover, countries use a 220volt cycle 50 instead of 60 cycle system. This will not affect their chargers, but if you try to run your computer directly from a wall outlet, which will run slower. If you only use your battery power all the time, no problem.
