Will N8008s Sigma 28-200mm Nikon lens fit Nikon digital camera?
I'm still trying to figure out how to get from Bronica 2 1 / 4 film to digital. I Nikon 35mm now. Will these lenses fit any Nikon pro digital cameras that I use in the study?
Yes, Nikon AF lenses work on Nikon digital SLRs. However, most Nikon digital SLR cameras have sensors physically smaller, so your lens has a 1.5x focal length multiplier – for your 28-200mm lens will soon become effective 42-300mm. In other words, you lose the breadth of this aim. The only Nikon digital SLR is not the multiplier is the new Nikon D3. In this camera, lens focal length is maintained. My suggestion: if you can afford the new D3, you are better with a camera like the D80 or D200, saving money for a goal as the 18-200mm, which will return its amplitude. And you will continue to function 28-200 cameras, with an effective range of different focal lengths. Personally, I would not go with his 28-200mm lens for studio work, try the 17-55 f/2.8 DX or Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 lenses in place.
